Information on the General Contractor 1.4 RBQ License
Our training for General Contractor 1.4 couvers the 4 areas of qualification required by the Régie du bâtiment; Administration, Project Management, Safety Management and Exécution des travaux en Routes et Canalisation (The 1.4 module is offered online and in French only), to complete a license application from the following subclass of Schedule I; 1.4. This subclass authorizes construction work concerning roads and public roads, sewers, aqueducts, pipelines, railway works and tunnels.

Language Offered : English for module; Administration, Safety and Project Management. French for the 1.4 exam.

En conformité avec la Charte de la langue française, les documents disponibles en français seulement dans le milieu professionnel seront fournis en français lors de l’examen, et ce, peu importe la langue de passation choisie pour cette examen uniquement.
In accordance with the Charter of the French language, documents available in French only in the professional environment will be provided in French during the exam, regardless of the writing language chosen for this exam only.

Our training in detail
Our preparatory training for mandatory examinations for a general contractor’s 1.4 license from the RBQ is available in a Guide or Online version. If you opt for the online version, you will have unlimited access to the training, 24h / 7 and an interactive preparatory examination to resume at will. The two training options give you the chance to study in the comfort of your home, to have access to up-to-date and corrected content according to the modifications made by the RBQ, to benefit support service by phone until the obtaining your license and the turnkey service for your registration and departure in business. Our courses include a Study component of the concepts specifically required by the Régie du bâtiment as well as an Examination component comprising questions similar to those proposed at the exams of the Regie, notions of calculations, points of laws, and regulations. All information, explanations and calculation development necessary for a good understanding of the notions of study is also provided.
The Régie requires, for the purpose of obtaining a license, that the candidate be 18 years of age or over at the time of writing the examinations.

This subclass authorizes contruction work included in subclass 1.6.
But only to have them executed when they relate to a civil engineering work referred to in this subclass.
