GENERAL CONTRACTOR

The carrying out of construction work exam for the general contractor license, is an examination that covers parts of the Quebec building code and focuses on the ability to find, through the index and the various summaries of the code, the requested concepts.

Our training will allow you to familiarize yourself greatly with the structure of the Quebec building code in order to be able to easily find the concepts concerned.

Also, you can learn the role of the Guarantee plan for new residential buildings offered to any buyer, both at the level of stakeholders, contractors and buyers.
In addition, we cover the concepts of building height and average soil level so that you can find the right classification of buildings.

We offer you; A Complete training guide covering the competency profiles of subclasses 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.2 and 1.3. This choice comes with a Quebec Construction Code 2010 to help you prepare for this exam.

TRAINING IN WORKING OUT OF CONSTRUCTION WORK

    



Our RBQ Working out of Construction Work Exam preparation course is available in a Guide or Online version. If you opt for the online version, you will have unlimited access to training, 24 hours a day and an interactive preparatory examination to resume at will. The two training options give you the chance to study in the comfort of your home, to have access to up-to-date and corrected content according to the modifications made by the RBQ, to benefit support service by phone until the obtaining your license and the turnkey service for your registration and departure in business.  In the event of bankruptcy or criminal record, we will be able to evaluate your situation, in complete confidentiality, in order to know if you are eligible for a license application.

Our courses include a Study component of the concepts specifically required by the Régie du bâtiment as well as an Examination component comprising questions similar to those proposed at the exams of the Regie, notions of calculations, points of laws, and regulations.  For this training we present you several drawings such as foundation, fireproof floors, load-bearing capacity of the floor, ventilation etc. to prepare you for the exam questions of Working out of construction work.  All information, explanations and calculation development necessary for a good understanding of the notions of study is also provided.

The Régie requires, for the purpose of obtaining a license, that the candidate be 18 years of age or over at the time of writing the examinations.

If you wish to obtain a general contractor's license and are not yet an Administration, Project Management and Security Management Guarantor, this training alone will not allow you to apply for a General Contractor license.
